2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data are processed when you visit realitea.eu or contact RealiTea using the contact details provided on the website.

The website does not currently provide user accounts, an online shop, an online booking system, a contact form or a newsletter.

3. Technical access data and server logs

When you visit this website, your browser automatically sends technical information to the web server. This may include:

  • your IP address;
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the requested page or file;
  • the referring page, if transmitted by your browser;
  • browser type, browser version and operating system;
  • the HTTP status code; and
  • the amount of data transferred.

These data are processed to establish the connection, deliver the requested content, maintain the stability and security of the website, diagnose technical faults and investigate attempted misuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure, stable and reliable operation of this website. The website cannot be delivered without processing the technical connection data.

Some or all of these data may be recorded temporarily in server access or error logs. Routine log data are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer required for operation and security. Data relating to a particular security incident may be retained until the incident has been investigated and any resulting legal claims have been resolved.

4. Anonymous usage statistics

At present, no web analytics system is active. In particular, this website does not use Google Analytics, Matomo or another external analytics service.

We may introduce a self-hosted, server-side system for anonymous usage statistics in the future. Any system covered by this Privacy Policy will be limited to aggregated information and configured according to the following principles:

  • no analytics cookies or browser storage;
  • no analytics JavaScript that reads information from your device;
  • no persistent or temporary visitor or session identifiers;
  • no device fingerprinting;
  • no storage of IP addresses for statistical purposes;
  • no storage of complete user-agent strings or complete referring URLs;
  • no recognition or counting of unique visitors;
  • no reconstruction of individual browsing paths;
  • no profiling, advertising or cross-site tracking; and
  • no disclosure to an external analytics provider.

The system may briefly evaluate technical request information already received by the server in order to update aggregated counters, such as page requests per day, the referring website’s domain or broad browser and device categories. Identifying information will be discarded before a statistical record is stored.

This brief processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to understand the overall use of the website, identify useful content and improve its structure and operation while minimising the effect on visitors’ privacy.

Only anonymous, aggregated results that cannot be assigned to an individual visitor will be retained for longer-term comparison.

If we later introduce analytics that use cookies, browser storage, pseudonymous identifiers, unique-visitor recognition, fingerprinting or another form of individual tracking, we will revise this Privacy Policy and, where legally required, obtain consent before activating that technology.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not currently set cookies or use local storage, tracking pixels or comparable technologies to recognise visitors.

Consequently, no consent banner is presently required for the website’s own functions. This section will be updated before any non-essential cookie or comparable technology is introduced.

6. Images and links on other websites

Some images are delivered from avanova.at, another website operated by the same controller. When your browser retrieves such an image, the server delivering it processes the technical connection data described in section 3. These images are not used for visitor tracking.

The website also contains ordinary links to other websites. Merely displaying such a link does not transmit information to its destination. If you follow an external link, the operator of the destination website is responsible for the processing that takes place there.

7. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, together with the communication details required to answer your enquiry.

Where your enquiry concerns a possible or existing contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in receiving and answering communications under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Correspondence is retained until the enquiry has been resolved and no further communication is reasonably expected. Data may be retained for longer where required by statutory record-keeping obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Providing information when contacting us is voluntary. Without sufficient contact information and details of your enquiry, however, we may be unable to respond.

8. Recipients

We do not sell personal data. Where necessary, data may be processed by service providers involved in hosting, technical maintenance, email or telecommunications. Service providers acting on our behalf are bound by applicable data-protection requirements.

Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where we are legally required to do so. No usage information is sent to an external analytics or advertising provider.

9. Your rights

Subject to the applicable statutory conditions, you have the right to:

  • obtain information about personal data processed concerning you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • request erasure of your data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • receive data you provided in a portable format where applicable; and

These rights concern personal data. Anonymous aggregate statistics cannot be assigned to a particular person and therefore cannot be retrieved, corrected or deleted as an individual record.
